This book seems great if you already know exactly where you're going

This book seems great if you already know exactly where you're going, and need ideas once you're there. We were trying to figure out which cities to focus on, and get itinerary ideas. I was able to get some ideas from this, but it wasn't the best for planning routes, etc. We'll definitely bring this with us for our trip, since it has some fantastic reviews of places. Rick Steves is always great.

I am learning so much before I go and it's making some of the decisions/choices about where to go and what to see difficult. I want to do it all! Some very helpful and practical advice included as well. As a novice traveler, I am very impressed.

Just returned from 10 day trip to Scotland, driving everywhere, staying in b&bs,castles & inns..Thank you Rick Steves your book was very helpful in planning & during the trip. His recommendations were spot on, especially the suggested sites to see, places to eat and driving advice. We had sunny weather (except on Isle of Skye), good food & met friendly people.
